ahhh 15 years ago on this date a wonderful late period show from summer 92,yep that's right i said summer 92.yes jerry was in rough shape and the band would have to cancel the fall tour a few months later but that night a little magic spiked the Pennsylvania summer air.no it's not up to par to 68 or 73,79,82..yada yada insert your better year here ___ but it was great time and a solid show for this 22 year old southern boy from the sunshine state.icy cold imports, kind buds, good friends, beautiful young ladies in sun dresses with eye's aglow, flowing hair, the chesire grin and the summer breeze pressing all so gently against their dresses.the beating of drums, the strumming of guitars, doses doses, kind buds, extra's get your extras here.the sound of laughter, the distance smell of food.the vendors vending and the wet,wet white fluff blotter.the boys open with jack straw and sent us away with a heavin's door underneath the stars on crispy cool pennsylvania summer night.i even caught a shooting star during spanish jam as i laid on the grass overtaken by the blotter looking up to the evening skies and how those stars glowed so brightly that night.ahh to be 22 again and on the road again but all good things must come to a end but the music and memories will always live on.most heads look down on shows past 91 and on the crowds but some of us went for the music.we didn't crash gates,we picked up are trash avoided the cops.shared what we could shared and respected the scene left by other heads from years gone by.jerry was smiling from time to time playing in a smaller venue outdoors a stark contrast from the concrete jungle of RFK from 6-20 and the upcoming two nights at soldier field.anyway go in with a open mind and enjoy the show from the greatest band that walked the face of the earth.even 92 gd shows where better than 90% of the stuff going on in 92.the shows are broken up here on the archive, quality sound ,anyway i leave you with the link to the second set.http://www.archive.org/details/gd92-06-22.set2sbd.herman.14053.sbefail.shnf p.s. slight china cat tease at the end of g.d.t.r.f.b.

Amazing, isn't it, how two people can have such divergent opinions of the same thing. This is a prime example of why eyewitness testimony can be so easily discredited in court. Glad one of you enjoyed it. Sorry the other didn't.

ain't it crazy is so true i didn't care for 6-23-92,the dreadlock fence crashers and phil looking at them shaking his head pissed off.the muffed so many roads with jerry trying to make it up in the end.getting way to go home and corina back to back.goes to show how music is so subjective.

really muffed so many roads ??? i will have to listen to that again..i always thought that was one of the finer versions...

6-23 1st set was better (imo) and the 2nd set truckin>spoonful was nice ..you can bag the corrina & long way ...

the 1st set is what made the 6-23 show better but once again that ain't sayin' much as jerry's health was not good for this tour and it shows at these shows!!!!!

i will have to respectivly disagree ..that 6-22 show was horrible -jerry was not on his game at all -the darkstar is especailly lame ...sorry but his was a very weak show..6-23
was way better and that ain't saying much...

hey, at least you "respectfully" disagreed, even if a dictionary would have served your purpose grammatically :)

Edsel ... very interesting, haven't checked that paper in some time; sad to see such a wonderful building being demolished, but i guess that is the way of things; took several great courses in that structure, loved the big windows, the fabulous woodwork inside, the looong hallways, good times for sure; thanks for prodding the memories; let me know if i can send you anything my friend:
